ISO 21384 - Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Operation
ISO 21384-3 is an international standard related to Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operation. Certification to ISO 21384-3 confirms that UAS operations comply with established best practices, local and international regulations, and all safety standards. Achieving certification to ISO standards enhances UAS service and procedures.
Securing ISO certification requires an investment in upgraded processes and controls while boosting customer trust.
Acquiring certification to ISO 21384-3 involves several steps. To initiate the process, please reach out to Veritas Global and provide a detailed description of the UAS product, process, or services for which certification is sought. After this step, an application for certification services will be forwarded to you.
Once the application is approved for the certification process, we will organize an evaluation based on the criteria defined in ISO 21384-3. Our auditors will compile an evaluation report to verify compliance. The applicant's adherence to the certification requirements will be confirmed through a thorough review of the evaluation report and a multi-step verification procedure.
Successful applicants will then need to enter into a licensing agreement in order to receive authorization to utilize the certification mark on their UAS product, process, or services. Additionally, customers must agree to a three-year period of ISO surveillance audits before receiving and maintaining their ISO certification.
